The young man bursts through the main doors of the guild, a big grin on his handsome yet scarred face. Being the most boisterious mage in the Official Guild Cure, Eli has a ton of friends. Evryone loves Eli, no one hated him, not even the slightest bit! It was hard to feel jealousy towards him for he was so easy to get along with, and at times he could be the most adorable creature you have ever met, no matter how many times he says he has never been cute in his life. It might be hard to believe that a man who looks like him would ever get friends. Eli Mason had to be one of the most intimidating-looking people you will ever see, with his bright crimson eyes and shark-like teeth. Every single tooth came down to a sharp point, making them deadly. His wild silver hair was actually kind of ordinary around mages, but to a normal human, this trait would be unnatural.
Eli smirks as he reaches the bar counter of the Guild Hall and he slaps down three dollars, "A beer please! Draft." The woman nods and quickly fetches him a large mug filled with golden liquid. He takes from her and nods his thanks before downing the entire thing. He was so mesmerized by the tangy taste that he didn't notice someone approaching.

Eli was unusually... interesting. The guild master couldn't put her finger on it, but Eli always managed to catch her attention. He may look intimidating to others but it doesn't mean he's a bad person, right? For some reason, Eli didn't look that intimidating to Poinsettia. She had seen people that looked way more intimidating than Eli in her lifetime. Poinsettia never thought of Eli to the be the most adorable creature ever. He was interesting but not adorable. When the guild master entered the hall, everyone looked her way and greeted her. Mostly everyone in the guild respected Poinsettia, but she was sure there had to be one person that didn't like her. A few guild members rushed up to her and began a conversation with her, but she really wanted to speak to Eli. "I'm sorry, but I have a meeting with someone. Please, excuse me." The guild members moved to the side, bowing their heads to her. Once they were done apologizing, they joined their friends for some more beer. Poinsettia chuckled and rolled her eyes playfully, for she was used to it. Her yellow eyes landed on the man that just ordered a beer. It was Eli Mason. He was also Temperance's brother. The blue-haired girl walked calmly over to Eli and asked the woman behind the counter for a beer. She turned her head to Eli and her eyes softened as she gazed at him. "Hello, Eli. I wasn't expecting to see you here. I was just looking for you. So, how have you been lately?" Poinsettia didn't want to ask any questions about his sister, so she just started some small talk. Eli's naturally narrowed crimson eyes look up to meet his Master's yellow ones. He smirks lightly and nods his head in respect to her, "Mast-burp!-er!" He must have been drinking even before he got back to the guild, for his eyes had a glazed look and he chuckled at almost everything. Eli was a special type of drunk-he had wild mood swings. One moment he would be bright and bubbly, and the next he would be agressive and horribly loud, louder than usual. He offers her his half-empty drink and says in a slurred voice, "Have sooome~! It is so good..." His grin somehow grows and his crimson eyes take her in, "And might I s-burp!-ay that you are looking as beuti-burp!-ful as usual, Master!" He sits down clumsily onto a broken bar stool, and it breaks under his weight. He cries out as he falls, butt hitting the ground painfully. He groans before taking a giant swig of his beer. People laugh at him and he laughs along with them, brushing off the pain and the embarassment.

Poinsettia never got the whole story about Eli being in her guild in the first place. He was Temperance's brother! Was he a spy for Temperance or was he actually against her? It would be a shame if Eli was a spy for Temperance, and he was secretly planning to rip Poinsettia's throat out, because Poinsettia grew very fond of him. He's soooo drunk! She giggled and took the half-empty beer from Eli and chugged it down. Her cheeks turned slightly red, and she set the empty beer bottle on the counter. "Why thank you, Eli~ You seem to be in high spirits today. Or, is it just the beer talking?" Poinsettia giggled softly at Eli's clumsiness. She didn't mean to laugh, but it was kind of funny. Well, maybe it was more than just kind of funny. "Oh my! Eli, are you okay?" She reached out to him, offering to help him up.

Eli takes her offer, sliding his large hand into her smaller one. He lets Poinsettia help him off the ground and for some reason he doesn't let go of her hand afterwards. He yawns loudly, "I'm all good. I've been through worse." He looks at her groggily, all high spirits gone, "I feel weird." He says darkly. His hand tightens around her's and he turns to the girl behind the bar counter, "Whiskey....in a beer mug." The girl hesitates and looks at Poinsettia.

The girl helped him up and smiled sweetly at him. Okay, so maybe he was cute whenever he was clumsy, but that doesn't make him the most adorable creature. She probably thought his clumsiness was cute, because she was clumsy too. Poinsettia looked down at their hands, and she looked back up at Eli, blinking at him in confusion. Her eyes widened as she realized the sudden mood change. Oh, yeah. Someone told me that this happens whenever Eli is drunk. "Maybe you should take it easy and limit yourself with the beer, whiskey, etc." She wasn't afraid of him, but she was worried something would go wrong if he kept on drinking. Poinsettia looked at the woman behind the counter and shook her head, telling her not to give Eli any whiskey or beer.

Eli scowls as the girl behind the counter walks away without giving him his drink. "C'mon I'm dying here!" He barks harshly, before shaking his head wildly and looking at his Master, "Nah Master, I just need moooooooooore~!" He chuckles slightly, but it was humorless. It was horrible whenever he got like this, but Eli was an alchoalic, so this happened often. He really needed to quit but never had the motivation. His life sucked so why get rid of something that made him forget everything? His sister was Satan, nobody will ever fully trust him, and because of that, he could never get a girlfriend to make his life better. The thoughts saddened him greatly and suddenly all he could think about was getting more beer. He lets go of Poinsettia's hand and climbs over the counter with ease, landing on the other side. He grabs a bottle of scotch and tries to open the top of it, but his fingers wouldn't cooperate in his drunken state. He gets extremely frustrated to the point of shaking with fury and his crimson eyes darken.

"Eli, you are not dying." He was just exaggerating, because he was probably addicted to alcohol. Maybe he was one of those people that got drunk easily or something like that. Poinsettia shook her head and told him that he can't have anymore. He can't have anything to drink but water or a soda. No alcohol. She narrowed her eyes and she was beginning to get frustrated with Eli. "I told you that you can't have anymore." Poinsettia jumped over the counter and held her hand out to him, trying to get the beer from him without getting into a fight with him. "Be a good boy and give me the beer."

Common sense seems to get through to Eli and he looks between the beer and his Master. He clicks his tongue on the roof of his mouth and sighs heavily, "Hm, either hand over happiness or be beaten to a pulp...ugh fine." He hands her the beer none-too-gently before sighing again and rubbing his eyes, "Sorry...God I really need to control this."

A sly grin appeared on her face when Eli finally handed her the beer. Poinsettia would never beat any of her guild members just because they have an addiction to alcohol. The worst thing she can do is to hide the alcohol and test them to see if they can actually survive without drinking beer all the time. Poinsettia took his hand and said, "If you want, I can help you limit yourself when it comes to alcohol." She smiled at him and handed him the beer. "Okay. You can drink as much as you want, but after tonight, I'll be watching you carefully to make sure you don't drink too much alcohol. Deal?"

Eli nods avidly, "Aye~!" He takes the beer from her with the hand she wasn't holding and pops it open with ease. He brings it to his mouth to take a long swig, sighing inwardly at the tangy flavor he has grown so accustom to having in his mouth all the time. He smirks, "Thanks, babe~!" He slurrs out informally before downing the rest of the beer, looking about as excited as a kid at Christmas.

Babe? Where did that come from? Maybe he was just joking around. Or, he calls girls, "babe" all the time. Poinsettia was happy because Eli was happy that he got his beer back. She took the beer from him when he was done and looked inside the bottle, shaking it a litle bit. "Aww! You didn't leave any for me?" The girl made a pouty face and sat on the counter, crossing her arms and looking away. She was acting like she was upset just to see how Eli would react. She never got her beer that she asked for when she entered the bar, so she was getting a bit upset about it. Poinsettia could handle it, but she wanted at least one beer.

He burps once again, but into his hand. At least he was trying to be polite. He smiks at her and says silkily, "Awwwww, poor girl~!" He reaches up and takes her chin, turning her head so that she was facing him. He smirks hugely and reaches over, grabbing another beer. He hands it to her and lets go of her chin. He grabs a beer for himself, poping it open without a single thought.

When Eli took her chin and made her face him, she blushed hard and wanted to look away, but she couldn't. W-What the hell is wrong with this guy!? Poinsettia was still facing him, but she looked to the side to avoid getting lost in his dark crimson eyes. Some of the guild members were staring at the two, thinking negatively about Eli when he was drunk. Most of the guys were angry that Eli was allowed to touch Poinsettia but not them. Poinsettia only let Eli touch her because he was drunk, and she didn't want to make him feel like leaving the guild. Eli was someone she wanted on her side. It wasn't because he was very strong. She just really liked him as a friend. Plus, if he took it too far, Poinsettia would take care of it immediately. "Uh.. Thanks, Eli." Poinsettia took the beer from him and crossed her right leg over her left. She took a giant swig of beer and sighed with satisfaction.
